This experience is open to all students, with a
focus on global leadership, community change, and
service-learning.
During the trip, we’ll spend most of our
time in Cuenca with some
time at the front-end of the trip in Quito and more time at
the back-end in the Amazon Rainforest! Students will be living
with a local family while in Cuenca and we would spend some
days in a small village called Ayaloma (a beautiful drive to
get there) working at a bilingual school. We would also do
some cultural activities (Dancing! Shopping! Cultural sites!
The equator! The rainforest!).
Students do NOT need to know Spanish. The cost will be about $2250 (plus the cost of
airfare).
