for Pell Grant recipients to study abroad. In the past two years 43
Maryland applicants have won Gilman Scholarship for study abroad!
The
deadline to apply for Spring 2013 Gilman Scholarships is October 2, 2012
and the National Scholarships Office provides strong support to
applicants – learn more by attending one of our information sessions:

IMPORTANT: The deadline to apply
for a Gilman Scholarship is fast approaching – October 2, 2012! Your
chances of a successful application are dramatically stronger if you
start your application early and seek advice from the National
Scholarships Office.
ELIGIBILITY:
You must be a US citizen receiving Pell Grants during the semester you
plan to study abroad. For the October 2, 2012 deadline you must be
planning to apply to Spring 2013 study abroad programs that are at least
4 weeks long – WINTER TERM COURSES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR GILMAN
SCHOLARSHIPS.
