Terp Exchange

Want to learn about other cultures? Practice or gain language skills? Make friends from all around the world? Then join Terp Exchange! 

Terp Exchange is a student group at the University of Maryland that creates a "buddy system" between UMD students and incoming exchange students.  The aim of the group is to help ease the transition process for the new exchange students by pairing them with UMD student "buddies" who can help the exchange students feel welcome and get acclimated on campus. We also aim to create friendships and to promote cross-cultural understanding among all members. Terp Exchange also hosts a number of casual, fun events throughout the semester such as movie nights, day trips, museum visits, dinners, and outdoor recreation events that help to bring all involved students together. 

We need all interested UMD students to fill out a form by Friday, August 17th, so e-mail umdterpexchange@gmail.com as soon as possible! Also, feel free to send us an e-mail if you have any questions.
