Copy editing positions at The Diamondback

The Diamondback, the university's independent student newspaper, is looking to hire copy editors for the fall semester. Copy editors work on fact checking stories, proof reading pages and editing for style and grammar. They typically work 10-15 hours per week (2-4 shifts). Copy editing is a great way to get involved at The Diamondback and gain experience working in the newsroom of a daily paper. You do NOT have to be a journalism major to apply.

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact copy desk chief Ellen Fishel at ellenfish22@gmail.com. We're looking to start hiring before the semester starts so new copy editors can participate in software training.
