Academic
Achievement Programs (AAP) is a federally funded program that provides academic
support for low-income and/or first-generation first-year students. AAP’s Tutoring and College Study Skills
Components are looking for tutors for the fall 2012. Tutoring utilize a small group, collaborative learning
environment. If you are interested in adding an exciting and rewarding teaching
experience to your resume, this is the opportunity that you have been waiting
for!
Tutors/SI
leaders can be paid or enroll in EDUC388, Guided Experiences in College
Teaching. This seminar course
meets once a week and covers strategies for becoming effective peer
facilitators. Our pay scale starts
at $7.5, based on previous experience.
Candidates must have cumulative GPA not less than 2.75 and have achieved
at least a B in the respective course.
