Hobbit Day Potluck Dinner - Monday

Join us for a celebration of Bilbo and Frodo's birthday!

LOTR cosplay is, of course, encouraged at this event but not required.  

Bring a dish of Middle-earth food to share.  The Honors College is providing mushroom soup, bread, seed cake, lemonade, and mulled cider.  

Attendees are invited to prepare songs or poems to contribute to the evening’s entertainment, either Tolkien’s or their own original work in homage to Tolkien.  UMD’s own Matthew Rice will lead off the festivities by singing his original composition “The Ballad of Bill the Pony.”
