Voices
of Social Change invites engaging storytellers to share their
experiences as active community agents for social change. The purpose of
the program is to honor the social
justice work of these leaders, to connect students and resources, and
to inspire students to engage in social change work. Voices of Social
Change brings engaging local and national speakers to campus to deepen
our understanding of social movements and the
process of leadership for civic engagement. Past speakers
include Cornel West, Faces of Homelessness Speakers’ Bureau, Mark
Bergel, Barbara Ehrenreich, Beatriz Otero, Mazi Mutafa, Tim Wise, Adam
Schneider, and Suzanne Marcus.
