Apply to be on the Voices of Social Change Planning Committee

Would you like to bring speakers to campus like Cornel West? Tim Wise? Gloria Steinem?
Have a great idea for a lecture series?
Apply to be on the Voices of Social Change Planning Committee TODAY!
Voices of Social Change invites engaging storytellers to share their experiences as active community agents for social change. The purpose of the program is to honor the social justice work of these leaders, to connect students and resources, and to inspire students to engage in social change work. Voices of Social Change brings engaging local and national speakers to campus to deepen our understanding of social movements and the process of leadership for civic engagement.  Past speakers include Cornel West, Faces of Homelessness Speakers’ Bureau, Mark Bergel, Barbara Ehrenreich, Beatriz Otero, Mazi Mutafa, Tim Wise, Adam Schneider, and Suzanne Marcus.
Applications are due this FRIDAY, April 5th. Applications can be found online at http://thestamp.umd.edu/student_involvement/lcsl/events/voices_of_social_change.
