American Institute for Cancer Research is currently searching for summer interns

The internship period will go from late May to mid August.  Interns at AICR work in a specific department and will have exposure to how a public health non-profit works.  Interns are paid a $500 stipend at the end of the semester.  Below are descriptions of available positions and application instructions.

General Admin Intern
The Intern will work with the Director of HR and Operations to provide general administrative support on various projects.  The main project will be conducting and recording inventory of the building after an internal office move.  The intern will work with the accounting department to reconcile what is in the building and what is in the accounting system to make sure that we have an accurate and up to date list.  In addition the intern will help to support in other departments as needed.

Development Intern
The Intern will work with the Manager of Development and Marketing on a number of projects.  Ideal candidate will have good research skills to help with research on possible foundations, corporations or individual donors.  In addition, the intern should have strong communications/writing skills to assist the development department on special projects and communication with donors.  The intern will also be responsible for assisting the department administratively with scanning, filing, data entry and mailing for major donors.
