MEDLIFE
will be holding elections next Wednesday, May 1. All positions are
open: president, vice president, community service chair, secretary,
fundraising chair, treasurer, mobile clinic officer, public relations
and education chair. To run for a position, you must have attended 4 out
of 6 GBMs and attended a fundraising event, community service event,
mobile clinic or plan on attending a clinic. To apply, email araval63@gmail.com by Sunday April 28th at 12 PM.
As an
expansion of our chapter's initiative to reach out to members of our
local community, MEDLIFE is partnering with Beyond These Walls and
having a community service event today, Friday April 26th. This event qualifies as a requirement to run for an executive board position. We are going to Chillum Elementary School at 3:30 and teaching children about global water shortages with several fun activities. If you are interested in attending, email rlee123@terpmail.umd.edu
