Help Organize a 5K Run/Walk for Aneurysm Awareness for 2013~2014 School Year!

Did you know that there are 1 in 50 people in the United States with a Brain Aneurysm, with one rupturing every 18 minutes?  1 in 15 people will develop a Brain Aneurysm at some point in his or her life.
The Maryland Neuroscience Society and the Joe Niekro Foundation (http://www.joeniekrofoundation.com/) are looking to host a 5K Run/Walk to raise Aneurysm and Arteriovenous Malformation Awareness for next spring, and we need your help!

We are looking for dedicated, motivated, and energetic staff and students who will be willing to help plan, coordinate, and run this race, which will benefit patients, families, and survivors with aneurysms and arteriovenous malformation, as well as work to spread awareness to the general public. If you want to be a part of a meaningful, rewarding project next school year, this is it!
We are very well connected to many top medical schools, hospitals, and neurological institutions, and we work for a very valuable cause.  If you are interested in helping, please e-mail hironira@umd.edu or hiroko@avmalformation.org.
