Engineers Without Borders ExPO: Engineers Skills Fair

On Sunday, April 7th from 1-3 pm at the KIM Engineering Building,
Engineers Without Borders is hosting the first annual University of
Maryland ExPO: Engineers Skills Fair (http://ter.ps/expo). Student
groups from all engineering disciplines will lead hands-on workshops
to provide the whole Maryland community with the opportunity to engage
with one another and learn skills applicable to both engineering and
everyday life. Our vision is to create an event to teach practical
skills and incite interest for engineering while appealing to the
student body as a whole.

ExPO will consist of a series of 15-30 minute interactive
demonstrations on topics ranging from 3D printing and welding to
automotive repair and power tools. Participating student groups
include Maryland Sustainability Engineering, Steel Bridge, Concrete
Canoe, Startup Shell, Society of Bioengineers, QUEST Honors Program,
Terps Racing, Sigma Phi Delta, Theta Tau, and more!
