The Student Government Association presents the Maryland Invests:College Affordability Essay Contest

Following last year's doomsday budget scare––which would have raised tuition more than 10%––students need to take action to ensure their voice is heard and fight to keep college affordable. This is your opportunity. All you need to do is tell us why.

Prompt: Tell us why the state of Maryland should keep college affordable. Various approaches can include discussion a personal story, philosophical reasoning, or policy perspective.
