Film/Discussion: Favela Rising!


Interested in making your music more meaningful?

Join us for a showing of Favela Rising, an amazing documentary about how an ex-drug trafficker transformed the slums of Rio de Janeiro with music!  A though-provoking discussion will be led by Benjamin Blocksom, a UMD ethnomusicology DMA candidate.  For more information on the film, check out:
