Register to vote in just 30 seconds

The University of Maryland is the first and only school in the country to allow students to register to vote with just their UID!  And you can do it all online!

Register to vote in just 30 seconds:

This year, voters in Maryland will not only be voting for their elected officials, but also on several important ballot questions. These issues include same-sex marriage and the Maryland DREAM Act, and they will be decided entirely by voters of Maryland.

THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER IN MARYLAND IS OCTOBER 16.

In order to vote on campus at STAMP or Ritche Colosseum, you must register at your local College Park address. If you register to vote elsewhere in Maryland, please make sure to fill out an absentee ballot and drop it off at a voter registration drop box either in the SGA Office in Stamp or McKeldin Library.

If you would like to register to vote out of state, click here for more information.

Happy voting,
