PULSAR Undergraduate Language Science Program - Info Sessions April 5, 15

PULSAR is a program for students in any major who are interested in language science — a uniquely broad field that cuts across many different areas of study, including social and biological sciences, computer science and engineering, as well as humanities, education, and clinical fields. PULSAR students take several language science classes that fit their interests, engage in research and outreach, and become part of the strong interdisciplinary community of language researchers at UMD. PULSAR is open to all students who have taken one of several suggested prerequisite courses or have some comparable background in a language science field. Students can earn a transcript notation if they participate in PULSAR for 4 semesters.

Applications for Fall 2019 are due Monday, April 22nd. There will be two informal information sessions held in the Language Science Center, 2130 H.J. Patterson:

Friday, April 5th 1:30-2:30pm
Monday, April 15th 3:30-4:30pm

Students who are interested in the program can drop by at these times and ask questions, or can email: pulsar@umd.edu
