towards the initiative to support agricultural extension and education
efforts for farmers and students in Liberia.
Through the Global Classroom Initiative, University of Maryland students with
the global poverty minor and extension leaders are partnering with Liberia
International Christian College (LICC) students and the student-led
organization ROOTS Africa to implement various projects that assist local
farmers and leaders in paving the way for improved agricultural practices in
Liberia.
