AshokaU TerpChangemakers - Weds. 2/4

Join AshokaU TerpChangemakers WEDNESDAY FEB. 4 in Symons room 3320 from 8-9PM (time change) for our first community table of the semester focusing on the justice system and juvenile delinquency. We will be joined by Karla Luetzow, a student here at Maryland who, along with her partner, Laura Miller, has initiated a program through the Rawlings Undergraduate Leadership Fellows Program, which aims at addressing the needs of the "forgotten students." She and her partner have decided to advocate for juvenile delinquency rehabilitation. While these students may have been misguided in the past, their future can still be promising.
Join us as we discuss the larger issues involved with juvenile and adult detention, and learn how YOU may be able to change the lives of those left at the margins of our society. As always, food WILL be provided.
