AMSA General Body Meeting (02/17)

Please join us (AMSA) this upcoming Tuesday, February 17th for our second general body meeting of the spring semester.  The topic for this week will be “The Vaccination Debate.”  Not only will we be giving an informative presentation on this hot topic, what it is, and what we can can do about it, we will also be showing an entertaining, short video and holding group discussions. This is a great opportunity to learn and explore this current medical issue.  We will also be discussing exciting upcoming events, like the spring INOVA blood drive, the suture clinic, the bone marrow drive, and a special HPAO meeting for those interested in pursuing a D.O. degree.

Just a reminder that elections for AMSA’s E-Board will be held at the end of this semester!  As such, it is imperative that you are an active member if you are planning to run or participate in the voting process.

**PLEASE NOTE** Unlike last semester, the meeting will be held in the Benjamin Banneker room (room 2212) in Stamp, but it will still start promptly at 7:00 pm.  Come out to get to know your fellow officers and members better as well as to hear what all this fuss regarding vaccination is about!  Until then, take care and keep warm!
