   - UMD Winter programs: *October 1st *
   - Affiliate & Approved Programs: *October 15th*

Notifications about program and scholarship acceptances will go out on *October
11th* for all Maryland-administered programs.

*SCHOLARSHIP*

   - Gilman Scholarship
   <http://www.iie.org/programs/gilman-scholarship-program> ($5,000 awards
   for Pell Grant recipients and U.S. citizens who studying abroad for 4 weeks
   or longer): *October 7th*


*COURSE PRE-APPROVALS & PSAs*
Education Abroad (EA) Advisors will start working with accepted students on
course pre-approval documentation beginning in October. These forms must be
returned to EA *no later than December 1st* for students to be registered
for study abroad.
