Student Regent 2015-16 -- Call for Applications, Due 11/17

Each year the University of Maryland, College Park in addition to the other institutions in the University System of Maryland are invited to nominate candidates for this prestigious position to the University System of Maryland Student Council. Our single nominee is then reviewed by the System Student Council and their finalists are forwarded to the Chancellor and from his desk they are forwarded to the Governor. In the past, College Park has been represented by outstanding scholar leaders.  

It is time to determine the College Park Student Regent nominee. I invite your application for this position and I encourage you to provide this information to other students you believe would be exceptional candidates for this position on the Board of Regents. Applicants are invited to submit their completed applications on-line by 5:00pm on November 17, 2014 at http://thestamp.umd.edu/events/usm_student_regent . Finalists for this position will be interviewed on December 7^th at Towson University and a student nominee from College Park will be forward to the University System of Maryland Student Council.
