Homecoming Terp Service Day Event - Oct. 11

This year during Homecoming Week, the Homecoming Committee, in a partnership with the student organization, Terps Against Hunger, and the Terp Service division within the Leadership Community-Service Learning office are working to package 100,000 meals for our local communities. However, to accomplish this, we need ALL of your help!

The event will take place on October 11th, 2014 from 10AM-4PM in the Grand Ballroom in Stamp. Volunteers are given a choice of six 1-hour slots to choose from, with no limit to how many slots they can sign up for. All members of the University of Maryland community, including current students both undergraduate and graduate, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as members of the neighboring College Park community, are encouraged to participate. For this event to occur, we will need at least 3,000 volunteers, so please sign up!

If you are interested in volunteering, please follow this link: www.ter.ps/HCserv14, select your volunteer time slot(s) and sign-up with just your name and email; it is that simple! Furthermore, if you are participating as part of a larger group, you can register your group as a whole instead of each member needing to register individually. This is sure to be a fantastic service event, and we hope to see you there! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at homecoming@umd.edu.
