Students
Ending Slavery is hosting its second ever Glow for the Girls Run in
order to shine a light on the issue of human trafficking and modern day
slavery! Join us on November 8th, 2013 at the Sundial on the Mckeldin
Mall for a fun glow in the dark run. Registration will begin at 8:30pm
and the race will begin at 9pm. With your registration fee you will
receive glow sticks and the first 150 people to sign up will receive a
T-shirt. You can register in advance through Paypal or you can pay in
person the day of the race. The money collected will go directly to a
non-profit organization to benefit survivors of human trafficking! If
you would like to make a larger donation you can do so here: http://www.youcaring.com/ nonprofits/ glow-for-the-girls-run/ 95170 After the run join us for a substance-free glow dance party on the mall!

Although not required for registration, we ask that you please bring a gently used bra to donate. We will be donating bras to freethegirls.org, an organization that sends gently used bras to women around the world. The
recipients of these bras are victims and survivors of human trafficking
and often have no means of legitimate work once they are rescued. The women
sell the bras in the community market, which provides them with a safe
way to earn money, support their families, continue going to school and
avoid abusive work.
