Fall 2013 Rush: "Unleash Your Inner Hero!" September 18th – September 25th

Fast as the Flash? Strong as the Hulk? Wise as Batman? This September, get the chance to show what makes you special and bond with other everyday heroes of the campus community in a series of exciting and eye-opening events featured in Alpha Theta Sigma Multicultural Fraternity Inc.’s Fall 2013 Rush: “Unleash Your Inner Hero!” from September 18^th until the 25^th.

We stick to our multicultural roots in believing in the power of the unique differences of each individual. It is only by embracing these differences that great teams of heroes overcome even greater villainous obstacles. Come find out how our unique diversity helps overcome our obstacles and what it means to be in our brotherhood at events such as BBQs, fast-paced simulations, and international food tastings.

About ATS:

In 2003, a group of young men came together and decided that they weren't satisfied with the current state of the Greek community at UMCP. They looked around and realized that their group of friends was very diverse, but the Greek community was not; so they decided to make a change. These 9 students envisioned an organization for people of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds where cultures were not ignored, but embraced and used to better the members of the organization and the surrounding communities. This organization would foster the creation of deep, life-long bonds of brotherhood among its members while showing others that different people could work together to perform meaningful, productive service works for their peers. On May 19th, 2003, that organization became a reality with the founding of Alpha Theta Sigma Multicultural Fraternity, Incorporated.
