BIIXO CAMPUS AMBASSADOR PROGRAM: FALL 2013

Biixo has chosen the University of Maryland, College Park its select participating campus this year, and we want YOU to apply to be a Campus Ambassador.

What is Biixo?

Biixo.com is the world’s largest bulletin board. Its online platform allows students to find and post products, services, and events most relevant to them. For the first time, there is a centralized place for carpools, meet-ups, items for sale, jobs, gigs, announcements, events, and everything else specific to your campus.

What’s in it for you?

This isn’t your ordinary internship. You will be showered with swag – apparel, freebies, and cool rewards (e.g., gift cards, iPad, TV, etc.) you can choose from when you hit your goals. You will attend campus events to promote our brand. You will have real decision-making authority to manage your campus activity. And best of all, you will gain real experience and have a blast doing it.

Oh, and we’ll provide you with credits (if applicable) and a stipend (in addition to all those free gifts you earn) based on performance at the end of the program.

Who are we recruiting?

We are recruiting two (2) Campus Ambassadors. Ideally, you’re an individual who turns heads wherever you go, and you are not afraid to have a little fun. You must be a go-getter (you work hard, play hard) and an influencer (you know how to rally the crowd). Most importantly, you are self-driven, able to manage your own metrics and achieve them without us holding your hand.

Time commitment is flexible and varies from 8 to 12 hours per week.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be given a fair amount of autonomy when you work with us. From rocking cool Biixo gear to attending campus events to deciding on what the student body wants, you won’t be bored. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·      Attending campus events to represent our brand;

·      Giving away freebies to the student body (yes, you can keep some);

·      Signing up students and student organizations;

·      Maintaining and posting to your campus’ Biixo social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.);

·      Using our site and spreading the good word;

·      Giving the Biixo Campus team continuous feedback for improvement;

·      Passing out flyers and/or marketing items on campus;

·      Brainstorming creative ways to engage your campus; and

·      Wearing Biixo apparel as much as you’d like!

When you are not attending campus events or out distributing marketing material, you will be working remotely. Therefore, if you like the flexibility of working from anywhere (e.g., even in your pajamas in your dorm) most of the time, then this is a perk for you!
