TerpChangemakers will host an evening to celebrate women here and
abroad who have overcome incredible challenges to make a difference and
have their voices heard!
We are co-sponsoring the event with
Half the Sky UMD. Get excited to craft and donate paper beads to an
organization affiliated with the Half the Sky Foundation. Additionally,
there will be a number of organizations on campus speaking and leading
smaller discussions, surrounding their club's specific mission as it
ties to women empowerment.
The last hour, from 7-8pm, our conversation will be centered around the curriculum of Sheryl Sandberg's ""Lean In Circle.""http://leanin.org "
