Diamondback Hiring Page Designer / Illustrator

The Diamondback is looking to fill four paid Page Designer positions on staff. Designers typically work one night shift each week in the newsroom laying out pages and designing graphics for the print and web editions of the independent student publication. Candidates should have intermediate to advanced knowledge of InDesign and proficient knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop. Please submit portfolios or work samples to current Design Editor Chris Allen at cpa@umd.edu by Monday, March 31. Decisions will be sent out by Monday, April 7. These paid positions will begin training throughout April and will begin work by May 1.
