2014 is the 60th Anniversary of the
Lord of the Rings
UMD will commemorate this milestone in a series of
campus-wide events in September and October of 2014
Students are invited to participate...
--Create Tolkien-inspired artwork
--Write Tolkien-related research papers
Submissions are due
APRIL 30, 2014.
--Serve on the Student Advisory Group
