Open submissions for Audeamus, the National Multidisciplinary Honors Journal - Due 10/28

University Honors at UC Riverside is proud to announce open submissions for Audeamus, the National Multidisciplinary Honors Journal.  Deadline for submissions is October 28, 2016.

BACKGROUND: Audeamus is a multidisciplinary journal that was started at University Honors, UC Riverside in 2007.  The students chose to name the journal Audeamus, which means “Let us dare” in Latin, as it “dares” to publish an eclectic journal each year to showcase works of highest merit, no matter what it is.  From 2007-2015, Audeamus published 10 journals filled with works of undergraduates across the UC system.  Starting with the 2016-2017 edition, Audeamus will be going national, and accepting submissions from any 2-year or 4-year college/institution of higher education in the United States.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to submit, students are required to be a CURRENT undergraduates enrolled (full time or part time) at a 2-year or 4-year college or institution of higher education. Students who will graduate (in the 2015-2016 academic year) from an eligible institution are eligible to apply for the 2016-2017 journal if they have, for example, a senior thesis paper/project they completed upon graduation and would like to submit this piece to the journal.  Entries from students who graduated further back than the previous academic year are not accepted.​

CATEGORIES: Categories include: (1) non/fiction; (2) research papers; (3) poetry; (4) artwork/photography; (5) video/film; and (6) other.
