You'll write a short poem that will be sent to an incarcerated young woman in The Waxter Children's Center in Laurel. 

If you are interested in having a "pen-pal" through this poetry exchange, please fill out this form as soon as possible so we can pair you up with a girl from Waxter. 

The first correspondence (a short introduction and the first poem with the theme 'family') will be submitted to thevoicejuvenilejustice@gmail.com by Wednesday October 5th at 2 PM! 

We are planning to have their responses back to you the week after via email. So, as a writing volunteer, you will be writing a short letter and poem every other week.
