Critical Issues Poll Launch on 11/1

The University of Maryland Critical Issues Poll will be having its public launch on Tuesday, November 1st at 2pm in the Prince George's Room of the Stamp Student Union. The Critical Issues Poll is a BSOS sponsored initiative bringing together two BSOS units: the Anwar Sadat Chair for Peace and Development and the Center for American Politics and Citizenship.

At the poll launch, there will be two presentations of new poll results looking at the upcoming presidential election and also domestic and foreign policy issues. he presentations will be looking at the party breakdown of questions related to both American politics and foreign policy issues. Some of the issues that will presented include race issues and policy toward Syria and ISIS. UMD Professors Shibley Telhami and Stella Rouse will be delivering presentations and afterwards will be joined in conversation by William Galston, the Ezra K. Zilkha Chair in Governance Studies at the Brookings Institution and columnist for The Wall Street Journal
