GET TALKING!

To follow up on the talks given by our fantastic guest speakers this past Thursday (give yourself a pat on the back right now if you enjoyed it so you can make everyone around you wonder why you’re patting yourself on the back), Dialogue for the Future will be hosting an informal discussion on the legalization of gay marriage in the basement of Anne Arundel this Tuesday at 8 PM.

Not sure if you want to come because you don’t know what to talk about? Don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of questions to make this event edgy and authentic if you’re a hipster (or interesting and thought-provoking if you’re not)! It doesn’t matter if you have a strong opinion on the issue or no opinion at all: Come on by and have a chat with us! We’ve got a non-judging environment, plenty to talk about, and, most of all, cookies (and drinks)! Make the right decision– come!

In case you missed our blurb on gay marriage from last time (or you really loved it that much), here it is again in shortened form:

This November, we as Marylanders will be a big part of the national debate when we vote whether or not to keep the gay marriage law passed by the General Assembly earlier this year. These days there’s all this fiery rhetoric on both sides of the debate, but let’s put all the drama aside for a moment and consider what the whole debate should really be about– to have a discussion without fervor, but reason.
