Announcing Battle of the Bands!

The University of Maryland Alumni Association is looking for great local bands to compete for a chance to perform at Homecoming 2012.

Submit a CD or electronic file of your band performing for the fifth annual Battle of the Bands. The winning band will perform at the Homecoming Bash on Oct. 20 and receive a prize package including $500!

At least one band member must be a Maryland Alumni Association member or a current student .
                                                                    
   Don't miss a beat—apply by noon Sept. 17. To apply, send an electronic attachment* to vpinto@umd.edu or mail a CD containing one song performed by the band to:

*Submissions should include documentation of the band's name, a picture or logo of the band's name, the name of each band member, the membership number of the Maryland Alumni Association member and band contact information (to include address, telephone and email).
