MaryPIRG Internship Opportunity

Looking for an internship for the Fall? MaryPIRG is a student-directed, student-funded advocacy group at UMD working to solve real social problems. We offer for-credit internships for academic credit to students who are interested in learning grassroots organizing skills while working with a professional staff of organizers and advocates. 

Currently we are working to:
-Register 2500 new voters for the Presidential election 
-Reduce our plastic bag consumption in Prince George's County
-Fight Poverty in College Park and across the country
-Teach residents of College Park to be more energy efficient
-Make textbooks more affordable
