This is a reminder that TODAY (Wednesday) at 2 p.m., an admissions
representative for the Hopkins-Nanjing Center will be at the Language
House (St. Mary's Hall) in the Cafe area
to meet with
interested students.
Ms. Katie Brooks will have information about the H-N Center in China, better known as the
中美文化研究中心. This is a full joint-venture run by The Johns Hopkins University and Nanjing University, and offers both a
one-year Graduate Certificate in Chinese and American Studies and a two-year Master’s in International Studies,
which is conferred by both The Johns Hopkins University School of
Advanced International Studies and Nanjing
University. The Center is a fully bi-cultural and bi-lingual
institution located in Nanjing, China, on the campus of Nanjing
University. Non-Chinese students take their classes in Mandarin while
Chinese students take their classes in English, and MA students
write and defend a thesis in their target language at the end of the
two-year program.
