Research opportunity in the Language and Music Cognition Lab

Are you interested in:
- how we produce words and sentences?
- how we process music?
- how we learn second languages, and how bilinguals process two (or
more) languages?
- how music lessons and musical ability affect other perceptual and
cognitive abilities?

Are you considering applying to graduate school (especially in
psychology, cognitive science, or linguistics)?

If so, consider applying for a research assistant position in the
Language and Music Cognition Laboratory (lmcl.umd.edu) to help out with
research projects investigating the cognition of language, music, and
bilingualism. We ask for a nine hour per week, two semester commitment,
and offer 3 credits in PSYC 479 each semester. Applicants should have at
least a 3.0 GPA. Previous research experience and ability to code would
be beneficial, but are not required.

To apply, please email a short description of your interest and relevant
experience, along with a resume and copy of your (unofficial) transcript
to lmcl.umd@gmail.com.
