SHARE is a non-profit community based food network that distribute approximately 7,000 packages of nutritious food package
to families and individuals monthly; however this month due to
Thanksgiving, we are expecting to distribute approximately 20,000
packages of food.
This distribution is possible with the assistance of volunteers. We are
considerably behind, this month due to the large (holiday) demand. If
you have students, staff, colleagues or friends who are looking for an
opportunity to help thousands of families this season please send them
our way. We accept individuals, groups, organizations etc. All volunteer
activities take place at SHARE 3222 Hubbard Road, Landover, MD 20785. The hours this week are 9:00 am – 7:00 pm.
Volunteers will assist the staff with bagging dry food items, preparing boxes for packages, sorting food.
