Social Inequalities in Nepal: Research Assistants Wanted!

- How do children and adolescents in Nepal reason about social inequalities?
- Do they think that children from rich and poor families could be friends?
- How would they allocate schoolbooks and painting materials to rich and poor schools?
- Would they address prior inequalities between schools?

If you are interested to know the answers to the questions above, you should apply as a research assistant for the Nepal study at the Social and Moral Development Lab.
We are eager to recruit Research Assistants from a range of racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. RAs in this project will learn about the process of research, read the literature in developmental psychology, meet with a research group once a week, and in particular, will learn how to analyze the qualitative data from interviews of children and adolescents from disadvantaged and more privileged social groups in a developing country (Nepal).
