Speaker: Anne Simon, UMD Professor of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics, who is the show’s science advisor and shares story credit for new miniseries finale

Join us for a live TV viewing of The X-Files Miniseries Finale (Episode 6) hosted by Anne Simon, along with a short presentation by Dr. Simon on the science behind The X-Files and Q&A session following the episode.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Simon served as science advisor during the show’s original run in the 1990s and 2000s and authored a book about her experience titled “The Real Science Behind The X-Files.” She returned to her role as advisor for the new miniseries and shares story credit for the finale of the six-episode miniseries.
