The position is divided into two main roles (responsibilities detailed below):
Administrative Assistant:
scheduling patients, answering phone calls, verifying insurance
eligibility, processing payments, and coordinating all administrative
aspects of patient visits.
Care Coordinator: doing
intake and taking vitals for patients, reviewing patient's past medical
history and symptoms of present illness, drawing blood, giving
vaccinations, doing clinical procedures (EKG),
and coordinating all aspects of patient care during visits.
Job requirements include the following:
+ Completed
B.S. in Biology or other related Pre-Health major (Public Health,
Chemistry,etc) and interested in pursuing a career in health/medical
professions.
+ Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Candidates should be organized, efficient, and responsible.
