The Northeastern
Diversity Collaborative of medical schools admissions and student
affairs deans and directors will be held at the University of Maryland
on
Thursday, April 2nd at 6:00-8:00 pm in room 0220 of the Jimenez building.
This year, we have a number of schools attending. The speakers have
a special focus on underrepresented populations in medicine but their
advice is highly relevant to all students and a variety of health
professions. This workshop will discuss the admissions
process, gap year options, financial planning, clinical/research
experience, holistic review, the application, personal statement,
meaningful experiences, relevance of GPA and MCAT and personal
attributes.

- Rutgers New Jersey Medical School
