SPH’s Center on Young Adult Health and Development
(CYAHD) is looking for a paid research assistant to help with the
operations of two projects: a large-scale, NIH-funded research study on
the health-related behaviors of young adults during
a critical life transition (The College Life Study) and a statewide
collaborative project on reducing drinking and alcohol-related problems
among college students. We are looking for a motivated, responsible
student who is able to commit to working with us
for at least the summer and fall semester.
Primary Responsibilities: Literature review
and management; online research; quality assurance; document scanning;
data entry, cleaning, and verification; communication with study
participants; and other tasks as assigned. There
is the potential for data analysis experience and collaboration with
CYAHD’s Director, Dr. Amelia Arria, on peer-reviewed academic
publications.
Hours per Week: Approximately 20 hours
