Facilitators are an integral part of the Maryland LEAD Program. Facilitators deliver leadership development content to participants in the Terrapin Leadership Institute and our Leadership Conferences. They effectively shape the experiences of participants in those programs. Facilitators learn and practice skills ranging from public speaking, critical thinking, and flexibility! The facilitator role is a semester long (Sept. 2017-Dec. 2017), commitment. During this time, facilitators will engage with other members of the M-LEAD community in weekly learning communities to discuss the art of facilitation, and delve into leadership concepts as they apply to our world! facilitators can expect to join a community of supportive peers ready to aid them in their development journeys.
