APPLY FOR A PEACE FELLOWSHIP THIS SUMMER AND
WORK ON THE FRONTLINES FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE!
The Advocacy Project (AP) is looking for six graduate students with a passion for social
justice to work with AP's community-based partner organizations in the summer of
2019. AP has deployed 305 Peace Fellows since 2003. Click here for more

The work: Fellows will help host organizations to publicize their work; support a pilot
project for social change; strengthen their organizations; and build an international
network. In the process, Fellows will get unique first-hand experience of human rights
that will benefit them academically and professionally. All positions are full-time and
will last for 10 weeks (June - August). Fellows will receive a $1,000 stipend, plus $250
for travel and translation where appropriate. All Fellows are required to attend a week
of training in Washington D.C. in May 2019.
Qualifications: AP’s fellowship program is geared to graduate students who are
studying for a Masters degree, although exceptions can be made. Essential
qualifications include experience of working abroad, a knowledge of and interest in IT
and social media; a commitment to human rights and advocacy, and an ability to work
in a challenging environment. There are no geographic or nationality restrictions.

fellowships@advocacynet.org and pay an $25 application fee here. To submit your
fee, select your gift amount as ‘other’ and enter $25. This will be a one-time payment.
Choose your method of payment in the ‘payment information’ section. Finally, in the
section that asks if there is a special purpose for your donation, write "Fellowship Fee".
The deadline for applying is March 1, 2019. Incomplete applications will not be
accepted.
