We would like to offer qualified Honors College students an opportunity to intern at our agency.  Below is additional information about the two internship positions we are offering (to begin on February 1, 2019.)

 

 

1.  Graphic Design Internship

Description of Responsibilities: We are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to contribute to a variety of projects for Samadhi Advisors corporate brand creative projects. The selected candidate will have a passion for clean, contemporary design, typography, and photography. This role will help translate marketing and brand strategies into stunning and engaging visuals in print, digital and sometimes experiential media. This position is unpaid, but candidates who successfully complete this internship may be eligible to apply for a position that includes a stipend beginning in June 2019.

Term of Internship: February 1, 2019 until May 1, 2019

Preferred Hours: 10 hours per week.  Flexible scheduling is available, with opportunities for remote work.

Skills/Qualifications Required: In-depth working knowledge of the of the latest Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.)  A portfolio that demonstrates print and multimedia design projects that convey beautiful and strategy driven creative.  Strong project and time management skills with the ability to lead project deliverables from conception to completion sometimes with direction and sometimes without.  The ability to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity.

2.  Social Media Internship

Description of Responsibilities:  Drafting and posting content through different media channels (including Facebook, Instagram, and SquareSpace.) Monitoring social media success (page views, followers, etc.) and provide pertinent reports of progress.  Cultivate partnerships with influencers in the College Park, Washington-DC Area. This position is unpaid, but candidates who successfully complete this internship may be eligible to apply for a position that includes a stipend beginning in June 2019.

Term of Internship: February 1, 2019 until May 1, 2019

Preferred Hours: 10 hours per week.  Flexible scheduling is available, with opportunities for remote work.

Skills/Qualifications Required: Majoring in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, Psychology, or related field.  This opportunity is available to rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
