Apply to be a CMNS recruitment ambassador

CMNS recruitment ambassadors assist Eden Garosi with helping prospective and admitted freshmen determine whether UMD is a good fit for them. This is a volunteer position, and ambassadors help with events or shadow dates based on their availability each semester. We are looking for students from all CMNS majors who have an interest in helping prospective students learn more about why UMD is a great place to study computer, mathematical, and natural sciences! CMNS recruitment ambassadors assist with student panels and CMNS information tables at admissions open houses, meet individually with prospective students, and act as class visit or lunch hosts for prospective freshmen. Typical time commitment is one hour a week. You may be either a CMNS Recruitment Ambassador or a CMNS Peer Mentor, but not both during the same academic year. Applications are due by 4 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 by email to egarosi@umd.edu.

The application for the academic year 2019-2020 is now available; please email Eden Garosi for a copy. You can also check out our current ambassadors here: https://cmns.umd.edu/undergraduate/admissions/recruitment-ambassadors
