Be an Adventure Trip Leader! Applications due by Midnight April 11

The RecWell Adventure Program is currently hiring Adventure Trips Leaders! We are seeking students that are motivated, enthusiastic leaders who appreciate teaching in the outdoors. Students in this position are responsible for planning and leading adventure trips for students. 

As a prerequisite to becoming an Adventure Trip Leader, interested individuals must first complete the adventure leadership course HESI 318T. This course is designed to help students develop the necessary skills for leading participants and groups in various outdoor adventure activities. The course focuses on developing technical skills, leadership abilities, and overall knowledge of best practices for recreating in the natural environment. The course will be offered during the fall semester on Wednesdays from 6-9 PM and will have four weekend field sessions. If interested, please apply at https://go.umd.edu/tripleaderapplication.
