Make your voice and the voice of your peers heard regarding the University Health Center by applying to be on the Student Health Advisory Committee!
The Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) acts as a student voice to the University Health Center staff and administration. SHAC participates in a variety of official UHC Committees and plans health-related events for the campus community.
SHAC members are available to listen to your comments, suggestions, complaints, or compliments about the UHC. SHAC also monitors and regularly reports on the University Health Center’s on-going Quality of Care Survey. SHAC works closely with the Director of the UHC to help resolve any complaints. Aside from their liaison duties, SHAC also clarifies the services offered by the UHC to the student body.
