The Association of Energy Engineers® (AEE®) student chapter at UMD is devoted to engage students in Energy Engineering and leveraging their role in promoting Renewable Energy and next-generation Energy systems/components/device, while spreading awareness about the environmental Impacts of conventional energy. The chapter will educate the students about the Energy institutes/projects/goals lead by UMD and promote their involvement in Energy projects/internships/research/
The chapter will maintain a networking opportunity with Energy professionals to introduce the student members to the exciting energy engineering jobs. The chapter will provide student members with Seminars, panels and talks (Energy professionals from Industry and Academia), Participation at Conferences and workshops, and participation at School events, Networking events, Visits to Energy industries, Certification program and Career fairs.
The chapter offers the student members other various benefits such as exclusive access to career fairs, Newsletters, magazines and conference proceedings; Subscriptions to leading-edge technical publications and discounts for conferences and seminars.
