SASE CIA information session 4/25 5:30-7:30pm
Get in on the Secret and join us for the last big STEM event of the semester! An evening with the CIA: Come learn the many ways that the CIA utilizes
STEM backgrounds. The program will include a brief overview of the
Agency mission and internship/career opportunities. A panel of
engineers and technical officers will share their career experiences.
We will conclude with a networking session providing a great
opportunity to meet your fellow STEM students and informally speak with
the CIA officers. Feel free to bring your resume. Keep in mind that all interested applicants for the CIA must
be a U.S. Citizen and undergo a lengthy employment and security
clearance process. The event will be held at the Kim Engineering
Building, with the panel in the Zupnik Lecture Hall (KEB 1110) and the
Networking Session being held in the Rotunda afterwards. There will be
free pizza and beverages provided during the networking session, as well
as some giveaway items at the networking session after. If you have any
questions, you may contact me at ppatel97@terpmail.umd.edu. For information about our sponsors, visit CIA.gov for more details.
