Swamped by reading? Stressed out about exams? Nervous about the future and life after UMD? Come find some peace of mind while you enjoy some snacks at a discussion on "Understanding Fear" by guest speaker Brahmachari Ramanandji, PhD, on Thursday, April 20th at 6pm in Margaret Brent A (2112). The talk gives a unique perspective in mindfulness- both addressing fear and understanding how to manage it. The talk will be followed by snacks and drinks, discussion, and Q&A. All are welcome!
Br. Ramanandji, a long time monastic disciple of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma, www.amma.org), is the Director of M.A. Centers and activities in the eastern US and Canada. He travels to many cities, inspiring communities to find inner peace and keep alive the flame of selfless-service that Amma exemplifies. Br. Ramanandji is also a PhD graduate in Computer Science from University of Maryland and professor at Amrita University. His talks, usually conveyed humorously, inspire and uplift countless individuals across the Americas.
